METAPHYSICAL BASIS
By Vicente Salas
[Traslated from Spanish]
Half of Luis Oscar’s work is resumed in the correspondent section of this website, where I wrote down the most important scientific arguments that sustain his theory. The complement of Luis Oscar’s book is about the abstract reasons which represent the roots of the idea; I should say that even though they are not scientific proves, I believe those fundaments might be even more helpful for human kind than anything else.
After all, the real importance of the Big Ray theory resides not precisely in how we could usefully apply it to our everyday lives, because the Universe’s origin is so distant -in time and space- that almost all of its possible consequences are out of our interest. The Big Ray’s relevance, as a Cosmogonic and Cosmological model, is often more in the psychological and spiritual backup it can put us forward, that is to say, in its metaphysical answers. A theory about the origin of the Universe implicitly contains an explanation concerning to the meaning of our existence, and it is, indeed, an essential matter.
WHAT PRODUCED THE BIG RAY?
In his work Luis Oscar intends to give an answer to this query; I’m sure I wouldn’t exaggerate if I’d say it is one of the greatest philosophical achievement in the last century. What I liked most from Luis Oscar’s explanations was the incredible easy way he employs to let the reader understand complicated concepts such as Infinity, Eternity, the Nothingness, or the Not Being Universe.
If we compare the Big Bang and the Big Ray, we’d see that the first theory is in itself a metaphor of causality, coincidence and random, and it clearly lends itself to easily hold the atheist flag. On the contrary, the Big Ray concept is necessarily Spiritual, because such an event cannot be produced by accident in any possible way. In consequence, there’s not a chance to deny it: behind de Big Ray must be an indispensable Supernatural Entity that produced it.
We could call it God, to simplify things, but the issue becomes very complex when the same Big Ray concept puts us in an advantaged theoretical position –never permitted to human kind before- in which it is possible to discover some aspects of this Entity’s nature. Before we call it God, with all the powerful meaning of the word, it is necessarily to go through certain stages of consciousness to comprehend the different choices this Entity’s existence puts us forward. Certainly, from the beginning of Luis Oscar’s metaphysical essay it becomes evident that the very first attribute of this Entity is that it should have been an Energetic one. Why does he state this? Simply because there are just two chances: It was an Energetic Entity for being capable to produce a Big Ray or for having transformed in a Big Ray (they are two completely different acts). This initial dilemma leads to dissimilar routes of discussion and its complexity gets higher as we go further into them. As an example, if the Energetic Entity transformed in the Big Ray, rather than produce it, it would mean such Entity would’ve been completely converted in heat, then in substance, after that in life and finally in thought; therefore, everything around us –including us- should be the constant evolution of that Original Energy. Here we’d enter into the Hegelian concept of the God-Totality, but, as I said, it is just one probability, among others…
There are many questions, but I can assure an important amount of them don’t remain without answer:
Where did the Energetic Entity emerge from? What it was made out of? Is it eternal? Is it intelligent? Was it in the Nothingness? ¿How could that be?
Learn all about the answers.
